For many small business owners who operate without a full-time marketing department, devoting time and resources to brand development can be a challenge. However, your brand strategy (the developing, launching, and communicating of your brand and your brand promise) will form the foundation of your entire marketing strategy.
Re-read the last sentence above. Yes, it’s that important.
Fess up. If you are a business owner, you have a great deal of uh, business to take of on a day-to-day basis. Your brand might be getting overlooked. Maybe you haven’t developed a brand strategy yet. Or perhaps you have developed a marketing plan and are not sure where a branding strategy fits in. Or maybe you’re not sure what all this branding stuff is about anyway.
And that’s fine. I will be posting a short series of articles that will help you understand the branding process and explain how your business will benefit from a solid brand strategy document. And by benefit I mean profit.
